Jim Speiser & Sons, Inc. has been serving the Northwest Ohio area for almost 70 years.

In 1953 Jim Speiser started the company and perhaps didn’t expect the success and legacy to continue for another 70 years. Jim’s hands-on experience working in his dad’s hardware store kick-started his interest in the electrical field. His jovial personality and strong work ethic made his success inevitable. He instilled this work ethic in both his son, John, and grandson, Bret who together purchased and took over company operations in 1994. In 2004, when John decided to retire, Bret became the company’s sole owner. Bret would continue to lead the company for almost 20 years, growing and expanding both its workforce and project scale.

The company is excited to announce that as of January 2023, the legacy of family ownership continues with Jim's grandson, Dan Speiser, and great-granddaughter, Bethany (Speiser) Moden.

While ownership has changed, you can expect the same quality service from our qualified electricians. Bret plans to continue working for the company to support and guide business operations and the transition. Dan has been working for Jim Speiser & Sons for over 20 years. His commitment to the company is only strengthened by this new responsibility. Bethany has served as the office manager for two years. She brings over 17 years of corporate business management experience and is honored to support and carry on the family business.
